Broken and battered, but still standing!

 

Beauvoir on September 7, 2005

 

     Beauvoir, the last home of Confederate President Jefferson Davis and Confederate Veterans home was heavily damaged by Hurricane Katrina on August 29, 2005.  The presidential library was also damaged, but they will be restored.
