CAMP REGULATIONS

 
1.  Items such as soap, salt, pepper, etc., must be kept out of sight or placed in    period containers.

2.  Keep modern coolers out of sight and covered inside the tents.

3.  Keep modern sleeping gear covered inside tents.

4.  Other than small copper pieces, do not throw cigarette butts, cans, or other unburnable items into firepit or on ground.  Pick up spent cartridges and caps whenever possible.

5.  Use tent stakes of period style only.

6.  Tear labels off food cans or empty into period style plate or cup.  Pour liquids into period style cups or bottles.

7.  Only period style lanterns are allowed.  A small flashlight may be kept in campbox or haversack for emergency and medical uses only.

8.  No profanity allowed in camp when ladies or children are present.

9.  No electronic equipment, children's games, radios, etc., with the following exceptions;
                •  Pager - for emergency (kept on person, silent, and out of sight).
                •  Cell phones - (call out only, turned off and out of sight).
                •  Radio - (Discretion of the Captain).

Excluding food, sleeping gear, and medication, all non-period items must be approved by the Captain or ranking officer.
